Shadow Rebels – Oversleep Hurricane

Label: Metal Scrap / Release Date: 2015

Shadow Rebels is an Israeli trio, one that is seemingly well known for experimenting heavily with their sound. According to Metal Scrap Records, they are, at their core, a Grunge band, but pulls in influences from both Jazz Rock, Fusion and Progressive Rock. I am goine to have to take their word for it, since this album is so far from anything I have encountered that I enjoy (or can even relate to). Overall, I must admit that I consider this albu very little relevant for me, as a writer for Metal Revolution, since it is, by any standard or definition, a Metal (or even a Hard Rock) release. That being said, however, I cannot rule out that some of you might find this record appealing: I am simply not one of them.
