What a great feeling it is when you discover an amazing band.
You have never heard of them before and then you get blown away. Soon you find yourself trying to find more from the same band and that process is great. This is how I felt after hearing new album by Manes. Imagine big jar filled with anything from psychedelic of early Pink Floyd, electronic madness of Apex Twin, beauty of Radiohead, rap passages, metal riffs, black metal atmosphere, jazzy instrumentation and a lot more. Then imagine this insanity at all times sounding incredibly generic and natural.

I found my self thinking how certain rhythm feels like it was written perfectly for certain melancholic melody line only to seconds later think the same thing about the same rhythm and the rap passage that came out of nowhere.

Lots of bands try using many different influences, but the result is often just a collection of sonic challenges that do not create a whole and therefore become boring and shapeless. That is not the case with How The World Came To An End which at all times presents a beautiful soundscape and makes all the strange elements feel like natural part and even more, makes them feel like necessity.
