Misanthropic War – Utter Human Annihilation

For some reason I received Utter Human Annihilation almost two years after its official release?! Dutiful as I am, I’ll write a few words about it. Utter Human Annihilation is a thirteen-tracker debut full-length by German violent duo going under the name of Misanthropic War. It follows their 2021 Bestial Genocide demo. The album got released by Godz Ov War Productions, is probably the most violent and hyper-aggressive album this Polish-based label have ever released.

Everything is there in the title of the album, from the song lyrics, over the artwork, to the very name of the band itself. In other words; the music they play on Utter Human Annihilation is hyper-aggressive, a wall of sonic violence, all delivered at merciless pace, with almost no slow-down parts – only pure relentless and violent war metal attack. Thus one can hear some dense and down-tuned growled/barking vocals, relentless and assaulting drumming, grinding guitars with monomaniacal riffs, all executed with a merciless tempo.

Utter Human Annihilation doesn’t only have merciless pace, but it literally leaves the listener without breath for the entire 35-minute long affair. Definitely recommended for lovers of war/black/death metal and notorious bands like Venom, Blasphemy, Impaled Nazarene, Black Witchery, Archgoat or Revenge.
