In my eyes a producers are extremely important for the bands. I love to analyze the production (mixing etc.) on the albums I listen.

Here is the list of SOME metal albums I consider to be "perfectly" produced. What does your list look like?

The list is NOT in order of importance

- METALLICA - Metallica
- TOOL - Ã†nima /Â Lateralus
- QUEENSRYCHE - Promised Land
- PAIN OF SALVATION - Scarsick
- THE MARS VOLTA - Francis The Mute

hmm, I definatelly do agree about Metallica 'cause it is obvious for anyone that this album is the top-production... about the others, I know that much to say that production is perfect there as well, but if there're some other labums that have even better production is hard to tell... I usually, unlike you Zoka, don't pay that much attention to production unless it is very bad or very good :)

Ok, fair enough. Personally I am mad about it. I love analyzing it etc.
I have to say that music producer would be a my dream job.

to me..Strapping Young Lad - Alien!..full of sounds..musoc..totaly beautifly recorded all of the instruments and drums
