Roncsipar is a duo from Hungary playing what they call as ‘industrial stoner metal’. This project was originally formed in 2005, so it is quite impressing to find out that these guys have issued such a decent cd so fast. CD contains of ten original songs, sung in their native Hungarian. It is kind of mystique and refreshing exactly because of the lyrics being sung in on of the most ‘clinical and fiery’ languages ever spoken, as it has been written in their press material. Their influences are experimental, ambient and drone formations, their music being more experimental than you would expect from such a ‘young band’. The fact is that I’ve never been a fan of this slow paced kind of metal music, but if you like a blend of industrial and stoner rock, I’m sure you’ll also like Antimonumentum. This album is a must have for all the fans of Neurosis, Ministry, O.L.D., Nine Inch Nails, God Flesh and Scorn. Actually it reminds me a lot of Scorn’s very first release. For any further info in this interesting but quite unusual project please contact www.roncsipar.hu or/and www.myspace.com/roncsipar
