Four Ways is fantastic hard rocking unit from Spain. After a few demo releases the band is finally ready to show the world what they have to offer, in a form of a full-length release called …From the Ashes… The band has recorded 11 mid-length tracks for this occasion with great emphasis on guitars and fantastic rock vocal performance of the frontman Rikky. It is obvious that these four guys are enjoying themselves very much while playing some of the best hard rock music ever. It is much in the vein of rock from the 70s and 80s; to be more precise it reminds me of Deep Purple, but also more power metal oriented acts such as Helloween and Stratovarius. It is energetic, it is bombastic and it is heavy, but still melodic and catchy enough so it can reach the radio stations across the nation. This is definitely one of the best hard rock/heavy metal releases that I’ve heard this year and I can highly recommend it to any true fan of the genre.
