Decaying Form is a band from down under (Australia) releasing their debut album Chronicles of Decimation. CD has 10 tracks of technicality and excruciating brutality. At first I thought they were playing grind-core, but after a closer listening I will describe their music as chaotic and extremely brutal death metal. It is twisted with rare rhythms and a lot of modern technology which in their opinion is the future of death metal. The vocals of Tom Pryer are very sick and insane with growls and screams like coming from deepest hell. The style they are playing is original and unique… I mean they haven’t invented the genre, but they sure bring some new elements and something of their own which is always a good thing. If you’re into this kind of extreme and brutal death metal I’m sure you’ll get entertained throughout the 31 minutes as long as this cd lasts.
