Ad Noiseam, 22nd October 2007
Bong-Ra & Ad Noiseam, a record company from France that has specialized in releasing some of the best & brutal and extreme bands out there, has just issued (which means re-recorded and remastered) Full Metal Racket. It features all the tracks from two previous records “Sick Sick Sick” and “Grindkrusher” containing all ten tracks.
This record is very well produced and the production incl. the whole sound picture is just amazing, you can’t get it better when it comes to grindcore. The whole album is highly energetic and full of twisted breaks and merciless guitar riffs. It is thundering, it is heavy and above anything sick and brutal.
If you ask me about the exact genre definition I may own you an accurate answer to that, for me it sound like a perfect blend of some of the most brutal and extreme subgenres of metal: there are elements of grindcore, breakcore, hardcore and metal in general.
If you’ve heard those tracks before, you must hear it now because it sounds much fresher and efficiently produced than before. On the other hand, if you like myself, didn’t have the chance to hear it before, this is the perfect way to get an introduction to the sick and obscure world of Bong-Ra. Information on this and many other of Ad Noiseam releases can be seen at www.adnoiseam.net or by writing an e-mail to -email- in addition to this you can also visit Bong-Ra’ official website at www.bong-ra.com
